2. modern means of communication
You just hired Mr Nobody. You show him around and point out that all modern means of communication are used in your company. Of course, you tell your new employee when he should use the telephone in his office, his moblie phone, the fax and the computer.
Explain to your new employee which means he/ she should use to
- get brochures
- get offers
- complain
- deal with complaints
- confirm an order
- make appointments
- make reservations (at a hotel, a restaurant etc.)

4. Telephoning
Telephoning is an important means of communication. Talk about the basic rules before explaining when you should call somebody instead of writing an e-mail, writing a letter or sending a fax. Give examples.
